We commissioned an independent rental appraisal that came back at $1,000 per week, and our internal analysis showed that if we could secure it under $1,400,000, the yield would sit comfortably within Cameran’s target range.
We went to work. Backed by our comparable analysis, we secured the property under our assessed value and then negotiated additional inclusions before settlement. This included installing air conditioning units in the bedrooms that did not already have them, along with other small additions we knew would help achieve top rental returns.
