Susannah, a determined first-home buyer, was ready to leave the rental market behind and step into property ownership. With a tight budget and limited stock available, finding the right unit in a competitive market was proving difficult.
We tapped into our off-market network and uncovered a potential opportunity through one of our trusted partners. The property wasnât listed, and the owner had no intention of selling. To complicate things further, a tenant was in place with nine months remaining on their lease.
After several conversations and careful negotiation, we managed to convince the owner to sell the property privately. Then, working collaboratively with the tenant and property manager, we arranged for the lease to be restructured – allowing Susannah to move in within the timeframe required under the first home buyer rules.
