Jason and Chenyu came to us while they were still in the process of selling their current home. We worked with them to help navigate the market and select the best suburbs that met their needs. With their eldest son moving to Normanhurst Boys High School, they sought a home that would suit their whole family’s requirements.
We identified six target suburbs to explore, all offering suitable options in size and budget. Given the vast area to cover, we carefully shortlisted properties that aligned with their needs. While the market offered many options, many fell within their budget but didn’t meet their expectations of a low-maintenance and well-established home.
After three months of searching, we came across a property on a Friday afternoon. The clients inspected it on Saturday and again on Sunday. The agent called us Sunday evening, informing us of an offer likely to be accepted on Monday. Through a very intense period, we submitted a competitive offer first thing Monday morning. Though it had better terms, it wasn’t the highest offer. We discussed it with the clients, increased our offer, and secured the deal by Monday lunchtime, ensuring we wouldn’t be gazumped.
