Anca engaged Moove to help her secure her next home. At 70 years of age and still working hard, Anca was ready to purchase again. She had recently sold her home in Hornsby and was looking for something affordable while still on the North Shore.
She was very clear about what she didn’t want, which meant avoiding villas, townhouses, and apartments. Free standing houses were the only option, and with a very tight budget, we didn’t have many to explore.
Anca landed on Berowra as the place to be and identified a home worth jumping at.
The home had originally hit the market with price expectations of $1.6m+ but was later adjusted downwards to a guide of $1.45m to pull in the crowds. The vendors really wanted somewhere between $1.5m and $1.55m, but having already purchased elsewhere, we knew time was ticking for them.
We started negotiations at 11am on Friday and by 6.40pm the contracts had been exchanged at $1.485m, well below our client’s expectations.
